Is There A Group For Teens Who Want To Change The Enviroment?
I live in North Idaho, and i’ve been trying to find ways to improve recycling, and waste management in my high school. I hope to be able to do some community clean up, We live in a 2000 person town so it wouldn’t be too hard. If I could find a group that could support me and my friends that would be great. If there is no group we should start one. If you have any info or opinions on this topic by all means answer.

But I live in Maine.
And practically everyone recycles here.
You will never see ANY trash on the ground.
Everyone cares for the Earth in Maine.
So I like living here.

Humans are not able to save the world or destroy the world, it is very conceited for us to think we have that kind of power. Find a more constructive use of your time.

you could contact your public library to host a club for just htis, and often a high school system welcomes such things.

omg! me too! haha except i live in california …but you should really do some research on finding alternative energy for your town, spreading the word (having….maybe “green” carnivals or something where ppl get to have fun and learn about changing their lifestyle to better offset their carbon imprint and the trash they generate!) and planting trees activities
if your school has clubs, you could form a club and then try meeting with the principal to make your school more environmentally friendly
good luck
