Idaho And Montana Golf Course Recommendations ???

Thinking of a golf trip. I know of Coeur D’Alene Golf Resort in Idaho along with Circling Raven in Worley. (Anyone stay at the casino out there??) Any other North Idaho courses you would recommend? How about in Montana. There is The Old Works in Anaconda. What about the Whitefish / Kalispell area? Any “should play” out there??

We’re Mid 50s & Relocating To Northern Idaho -soon. I’d Love To Hear Your Pros&cons On Such A Move Help!please

I’m 3rd gen. So Cal and Ron(husband)is from W VA, well he’s been in CA since 2 yrs old, but definitely W VA guy We’ve been married 35 yrs and Ron was VERY lucky cause he retired 1/1/07 with full benefits at 57 yrs old!! We are actually young enough to enjoy this! We’re very much in love and we’re best friends. I’ll be happy anywhere as long as I’m with Ron. We looked for 12 yrs in/around Idaho and found our land 2 yrs ago! I spent much of my childhood in Lake Arrowhead, CA & Clark Fork, ID is way like that 40 yrs ago. Even tho it’s a done deal, I’d love any and all pros & cons you all have about northern ID – Sandpoint, Coeur d’Alene, Spirit Lake or any other town you know of. I would like to know all I can about my new ‘home town’ before the fact. I’d like to thank you in advance for any help you may give me. We’ve lived in OC in the same home for 33+ yrs….but packing is a totally different question….lol!

Tornadoes And Severe Thunderstorms In North Idaho?

I live in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, the Panhandle. Our weather is normally mild. We don’t get a whole lot of severe storms but once in awhile we get a beautiful lightening storm (most of them are harmless). A meterologist predicted that we’re suppose to get 40% more severe thunderstorms this year and even predicted a couple possible tornadoes this month and in June. We’ve had a few tornadoes in the area but they are EXTREMELY rare. We had an EF0 just north of us a few years ago and an EF3 outside of Spokane, Washington (15 minutes away from Coeur d’Alene). Do you think it’s possible for a tornado to hit here and if so, what do you think the damage would be in this metropolis? (coeur d’alene, hayden, post falls, liberty lake and spokane is the metropolis i’m think of. these cities are all within a couple miles of each other.). Let me know! thanks!
