Idaho
I went camping with someone in North Idaho, about 4 in the morning until 9am. We heard something neither of us have heard before. It sounded like a bouncing ball, not a constant bounce, but like someone dropped a basketball and let it bounce until it stops, and very deep “thump” in sound. We could almost feel it in our chest, a friend said a bird, but this was way to deep to be something that small, im thinking cat like, bobcat or cougar?….. please let me know if you need more info.

I plan on a few trips to Sun Valley, Jackson Hole, Grand Targhee, and Snowbird. I live in southeastern Idaho and will spend most of my year at a small area named Pebble Creek. If you know of any predictions, your help would be greatly appreciated.

I live in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, the Panhandle. Our weather is normally mild. We don’t get a whole lot of severe storms but once in awhile we get a beautiful lightening storm (most of them are harmless). A meterologist predicted that we’re suppose to get 40% more severe thunderstorms this year and even predicted a couple possible tornadoes this month and in June. We’ve had a few tornadoes in the area but they are EXTREMELY rare. We had an EF0 just north of us a few years ago and an EF3 outside of Spokane, Washington (15 minutes away from Coeur d’Alene). Do you think it’s possible for a tornado to hit here and if so, what do you think the damage would be in this metropolis? (coeur d’alene, hayden, post falls, liberty lake and spokane is the metropolis i’m think of. these cities are all within a couple miles of each other.). Let me know! thanks!

I am looking at taking a job in Idaho and am wondering if it is a bad idea to live in Washington and work in Idaho. I know that I will have to pay Idaho income tax regardless of my location, but am wondering if Washington will charge me anything. I will be living in an apartment, so property taxes are not an issue.
