Here are some joke in the vein of Jeff Foxworthy that my brother sent me (he lives in North Idaho):
If your local Dairy Queen is closed from November through March… you might live in Idaho.
If you instinctively walk like a penguin for five months out of the year… you might live in Idaho.
If your dad’s suntan stops at a line curving around the middle of his forehead… you might live in Idaho.
If you have ever worn shorts and a parka at the same time… you might live in Idaho.
If your town has an equal number of bars and churches… you might live in Idaho.
Got any good ones?

I went camping with someone in North Idaho, about 4 in the morning until 9am. We heard something neither of us have heard before. It sounded like a bouncing ball, not a constant bounce, but like someone dropped a basketball and let it bounce until it stops, and very deep “thump” in sound. We could almost feel it in our chest, a friend said a bird, but this was way to deep to be something that small, im thinking cat like, bobcat or cougar?….. please let me know if you need more info.
